The purpose of Partnerships in Implementing Engineering Education (PIEE) is to integrate technology and engineering into the curriculum of elementary students throughout the city of Worcester as outlined in the Worcester Public Schools Benchmarks and Massachusetts Frameworks. The project completed by this IQP team focused on creating, implementing, and evaluating lessons and tools used to educate kindergarten and first grade students. Each lesson and tool was evaluated by the IQP students and elementary teachers for its effectiveness, practicality, and sustainability
