This Interactive Qualifying Project was design to find out which method of tutoring in Mechanical Physics would help the students master the materials better. The project contains sets of Physics problems covering free fall, simple motion and projectile motion. Each problem was designed with one of three ways in tutoring: hints with steps from WPI students, video hints or solutions from Holy Name High School students. The study was performed by using ASSISTments to assign problems to students with random type of hint. Data from the experiments was analyzed in order to find of which method of hints yields better results in term of students’ learnings
