This project\u27s purpose was to implement a wavelet-based fault detection algorithm for use in power transformers using software. Previous work in Professor Nicoletti\u27s lab was used as a foundation for the algorithm\u27s design and construction. The algorithm was thoroughly tested with fault currents and inrush currents both with and without added noise. Additionally, time to detection was also analyzed
