This project involves the design and implementation of an aviation warning system to improve the safety of small privately owned aviation aircraft. The result is a fully functioning device that aids pilots in maintaining desired altitude and terrain avoidance with visual warnings. The device includes a user interface with adjustable settings and a microcontroller as the central processing unit. In addition, a pressure sensor and a global positioning system unit are used to determine altitude and latitude and longitude
