The cost of ambulance services is very high for patients, which can range from $500 to $3000 depending on the location and severity of the incident. These costs can be attributed to expensive equipment and local variables. Attempting to reduce costs, a new EMS transport service is proposed that utilizes less equipment and a low cost vehicle for minor emergencies. It is possible for an EMS to save money using this service if there is an approval from Federal and State regulators beforehand
