Performing Theatre Audition Scenes

Four theatre students perform audition scenes originally presented at the 2019 Region VII Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in Eugene, Oregon. Irene Ryan Acting Competition Four Linfield students and their scene partners competed in the 2019 Irene Ryan Acting Competition. Nominees for this competition are chosen by KCACTF respondents who view college productions throughout the region. Selections are based on the actors’ performances from plays they performed at their colleges and universities during the academic year. From a field of 240 nominated actors, Antoine Johnson and his scene partner Nicole Tigner advanced to the final round of 16 contestants. In this round, the nominee and their partner have 6 minutes to perform two scenes and their monologue or musical selection from the previous rounds.
