Primary Synovial Sarcoma of the Pharynx: A Series of Five Cases and Literature Review

Synovial sarcoma comprises approximately 10% of all soft tissue sarcomas. Although synovial sarcoma has been reported in practically every organ, the extremities are the commonest site of occurrence followed by the head and neck.
