The London Lectures that Husserl delivered in 1922 are part of a broader program aimed at the systematic presentation of phenomenology. Within this framework, several strategies are deployed to address core disciplinary problems. Among them, this paper examines four aspects: the appeal to historiography in order to build a story that supports the fundamental theoretical decisions, the criticism of psychologism, the redefinition of the notion of transcendental and the specification of the disciplinary scope.
