Use of soft contact lenses as a means for corneal restabilization after discontinuing hard contract lens wear

The study consisted of ll symptomatic full time hard contact lens wearers who were refitted with hydrogel lenses in a corneal re-stabilization program. The purpose of this study was t o determine the degree of problems the eye care practitioner could expect if he or she should choose such a program.
