This study examines gender bias in classroom management settings. Research in this field indicates that there are differences in treatment between boys and girls, generally because they are socialized differently and tend to act out differently in the classroom. Once teachers realize they may treat the two genders unequally, there are steps that can be taken to eliminate this bias in the classroom. I found that gender bias in classroom management didn\u27t occur in the two classrooms I observed. In general, both teachers treated genders equally and showed an awareness of treating them the same. The topic of gender bias in classroom management is very controversial and one that would benefit very much from further research
