It has recently been demonstrated that the triplet dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) can be used to construct an efficient neutron spin filter based on polarized protons. This motivated to drive the development of this type of spin filter to create a broadband neutron beam polarizer and a spin polarization analyzer for magnetic small-angle neutron scattering. The proton spin filter has been implemented for a first time in a neutron spin analysis experiment, which allowed investigation of the magnetization of CuNiFe alloy and distribution of the precipitates within.
