The stated aim of this book is to “provide a context for the application of technologies to interpreter education and to learning more broadly” (p. xvi). Accordingly, most of the twelve articles in the collection deal with the use of digital technology in interpreter training, with only three focusing on the technology used to aid actual interpreting performance and service delivery. Articles collected in this book are good examples of the continuum between practitioners' accounts and more academically oriented research reports on the topic of interpreting and technology
