The objective of this bachelor’s thesis was to illustrate that a near-zero energy building (nZEB) could be constructed in hot and humid climate zones like Vietnam, with all standards and requirements fulfilled. The purpose was to achieve a sustainable, ecological, and environmentally friendly building in a dynamic city. A construction guideline could be created for this type of building based on both the results of this case study and the future performance of the building. The thesis studied energy-saving building types, gathered knowledge from multiple sources, and collected experience from designed buildings.
