Concrete is a material with a long history and has been proven to possess good properties even as a reused material. Despite it being extensively used in its reused form as crushed concrete in Southern Finland, it still is not used very much in the Vaasa region. Work is however under way to change this, with a circular economy cluster at Fågelberget industrial area in Mustasaari municipality currently getting closer to construction. This thesis and the handbook resulting from it are a stepping stone towards the increasing reuse of crushed concrete in the area.
