China is now undergoing a rapid epidemiological transition. Long-term prevention and management of the non-communicable diseases (NCDs) has become a major public health priority. With rapid expansion of mobile infrastructure and capabilities, mobile telecommunications have the potential to revolutionise healthcare delivery.
