The aim of thesis is to discover the consumer behavior and their impact on choosing eco-label certified hotels. At the same time, it also examines if the eco-label certified hotels fulfill the satisfaction criteria of their customers and their responsibilities towards environment as well. The case company chosen for the thesis is Scandic hotel which is located in Vaasa, Finland. The focus factor of the hotel seems to be in the favor of corporate social responsibilities. Initially, the introduction of topic is defined and then the proper definition of the corporate social responsibilities is explained.
