Distributed Teams and Projects: Issues and Trends in the 90s and 2000-2002

This paper analyzes the functioning of globally dispersed distributed teams. They are also known “virtual teams.” These technologysupported teams operate from across the globe, under different environmental conditions than traditional teams, carry huge responsibilities, and are required to make split second decisions under huge time pressure.
