Recovering community after a disaster can be a challenging task for stakeholders involved in the recovery process. Build Back Better (BBB) concepts considers disasters as an opportunity to recover, reconstruct and rehabilitate by integrating disaster risk reduction measures to restore physical, social, and economic and environmental aspects of a community. Hence, BBB can be used as a starting point to develop recommendations to improve the applicability of BBB concepts in the areas of risk reduction, community recovery and effective implementation.
