Received from ODOT January 2, 2007.The City of Irrigon, in conjunction with Morrow County and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), initiated a study of the city's transportation system during the sunmer of 1998. The purpose of this study is two-fold: to guide the management and development of appropriate transportation facilities; and to incorporate the vision of the community into a land use and transportation system that addresses both the potential for infill and redevelopment strategies and the multi-modal needs of the community. [From the Plan]"This project is partially funded by a grant from the Transportation Growth Management (TGM) Program, a joint program of the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development. TGM grants rely on federal Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act and Oregon Lottery funds.
