Introduction: Patients with CKD cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death. These patients have many cardiovascular risk factors, and among the emerging highlight the increased aortic arterial stiffness, measured by carotid-femoral PWV. On the other hand, it is known that aerobic capacity is reduced in renal patients, and this reduction is associated with increased mortality in those patients. Since physical inactivity is a potentially modifiable risk factor, conducting physical training protocols has been suggested as nondrug therapy for CKD.
