The purpose of this review is analyzing provision of agricultural sewage sludge as a biofertilizer in terms economic and productive rather than being deposited in landfills. Sewage sludge is considered an excellent biofertilizers because of organic matter amount and macro and micronutrients contained in them, thus contributing to the decreased industrial fertilizers use and reduction in fertilization costs. Its agricultural recycling must obey the quality rules of this material, soil type, environmental constraints, application rate and crop recommended.
