Estudantes com deficiência na universidade: contribuições da psicologia para as ações do núcleo de acessibilidade

The inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education is an ever growing reality in our country. However, even though there has been a noticeable increase of students under these conditions enrolling in higher education classes, and also the growing attention of researchers on the subject, there is still little knowledge on how to facilitate the enrollment and permanence of these students so they can graduate. To do so, public and institutional actions have been taken guarantee this group of student's rights. The Programa Incluir - Acessibilidade no Ensino Superior [To Include Program - Higher Education Acessibiblity], created in 2005, aims at promoting institutional policies of accessibility in the FIHE (Federal Institutions of Higher Education), in order to favor the academic development of students with disabilities and/or reduced mobility. Among its actions, the creation and consolidation of acessibility centers is found. This research was conducted regardind the FIHE, in order to analyze the actions developed by these accessibility centers, especially regarding the role Psychology plays on behalf of the participation of students with disabilities in higher education settings. The coordinators centers from different FIHE that were benefited by the To Include Program in the year of 2013 participated in this research. This research is hereby presented as a compilation of three distinct and complementary studies, in the form of manuscripts, as well as added text excerpts. The first study aims at describing and overwiew of the educational actions offered to the disable individual, in order to comprehend the relationship established by society in general and the disabled. It is understood that, although there has been advances when it comes to the way this issue is addressed, the history of the disabled person is still market with stress in the activism field, as well as in its political organizations and also concerning legal...A inclusão de pessoas com deficiência no ensino superior é uma realidade cada vez mais presente em nosso país. Todavia, apesar do avanço de matrículas de estudantes que se encontram nessa condição no ensino superior e da maior atenção dos pesquisadores pela temática, ainda pouco se sabe como favorecer o ingresso e a permanência para a conclusão dos estudos. Para tanto, ações públicas e institucionais vêm sendo tomadas para garantir o direito desse alunado. O Programa incluir - Acessibilidade na Educação Superior, criado em 2005, tem o objetivo de promover políticas institucionais de acessibilidade nas IFES (Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior), buscando favorecer o desenvolvimento acadêmico de estudantes com deficiência e/ou mobilidade reduzida. Dentre suas ações, encontra-se a criação e consolidação dos núcleos de acessibilidade. Esta pesquisa foi realizada junto às IFES com o objetivo de analisar as ações desenvolvidas pelos núcleos de acessibilidade, com destaque para a atuação da Psicologia em prol da participação de estudantes com deficiência no ensino superior. Participaram da pesquisa os coordenadores dos núcleos das IFES beneficiadas pelo Programa Incluir no ano de 2013. A presente pesquisa está apresentada a partir da compilação de três estudos distintos e complementares, na forma de manuscritos, acrescidos de outras partes textuais. O primeiro estudo, objetivou traçar um panorama das ações educativas ofertadas a pessoas com deficiência, de modo a compreender a relação estabelecida pela sociedade em geral com esse segmento populacional. Compreendeu-se que, apesar dos avanços na mudança de discurso sobre a temática, a história da pessoa com deficiência ainda é marcada por tensões no campo do ativismo, das organizações políticas e representativas e nas normas legais, indicando que muito há que se fazer para garantir a participação de sujeitos nessa condição em contextos.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES
