This study focuses on Mathematics Education, which begs the question of the following inquiry: What do Mathematics Education researchers have to say about Mathematics Education in Brazil?. The objective is to understand the meaning of Mathematics Education in the different ways that it presents itself to researchers speeches in Brazil, focusing in this field of study and trying to outline a style for it. The research data were obtained by interviewing teachers and researches, who work in Brazil and were referenced in III SIPEM.
