The purpose of this study was to verify the stress distribution in the ceramic veneers made with two types of porcelain: feldspathic and lithium disilicate in four different design types limited to dental enamel:(1) buccal preparation, (2) buccal preparation with incisal reduction, (3) buccal preparation with coverage incisal and (4) extended preparation in two different occlusal situations: load on the incisal third and the middle third palatine, through mathematical finite element method.
