This work presents a study for making particleboard bonded wood employing cabinetmaking industrial waste (sawdust) in the region of São José do Rio Preto - SP. Initial exploratory studies were conducted aiming to evaluate the performance of single-component polyurethane adhesives Fastbond 30-NF , Purbond HB S109 and folmaldheyde with respect to the parameters for making the particleboards, then after determining the physical properties of the particleboards have been proposed adjustments the parameters and performed new stage for making slabs are employing resin urea formaldehyde (UF) and polyurethane resin derived from castor oil (PU - castor oil) .
