The conceptions and attitudes about disability have significant implications on how the disabled are treated, to relate to other people. Given these considerations, this study was guided by two general objectives. To better achieve these objectives, two studies, each with a respective objective were outlined. Study 1 aimed to investigate the conceptions of children and adolescents without disabilities over the four disabilities identified in traditionally distinct categories: intellectual disabilities, visual impairments, physical disabilities and hearing impairment.
