Der eukaryotische Süßwasserflagellat Euglena gracilis nutzt verschiedene Umweltreize wie gelöste Substanzen, Licht und Schwerkraft, um in der Wassersäule den optimalen Bereich für Photosynthese zu finden (durch Chemo-, Photo- und Gravitaxis). Die vorliegende Arbeit betrachtet die Mechanismen der Gravi- und Lichtwahrnehmung in E. gracilis.
