Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden Mischerkonzepte für leistungsfähige Schottky-Dioden-basierte THz-Empfänger für den Frequenzbereich um 600 GHz analysiert, entworfen und realisiert. Aufbauend auf dem Stand der Technik von THz-Mischern mit offenen Antennenstrukturen und whiskerkontaktierten Schottky-Dioden sind robuste, hohlleiterintegrierte Diodenmischer mit planaren GaAs-Schottky-Dioden für bildgebende Radaranwendungen entworfen worden. Neben rauscharmen Einzeldioden-Grundwellenmischern werden Oberwellenmischer-Konzepte diskutiert und deren Vorteile für bildgebende Nahbereichsanwendungen dargestellt.
