1. Hintergrund und Ziele Morbus Parkinson ist die zweithäufigste neurodegenerative Bewegungserkrankung. Die Diagnose wird rein klinisch anhand der motorischen Symptome gestellt. Die Entwicklung von spezifischen und unabhängigen Untersuchungsmethoden ist notwendig, um Früherkennung, ein objektives Monitoring der Therapie und des Krankheitsverlaufes sowie eine bessere Differentialdiagnostik zu ermöglichen. In allen Phasen der Erkrankung spielt die objektive Erfassung der Motorsymptome eine entscheidende Rolle für die Therapie und beeinflusst damit den Krankheitsverlauf und die Lebensqualität der Patienten.
