Im Rahmen dieser Doktorarbeit wurden die Rollen zweier MAP Kinasen (p38α und MK2) in einem Modell der induzierbaren GBM Glomerulonephritis in der Maus untersucht. Hierfür wurden Wildtyp Mäusen, sowie p38MAPKα-/- und MK2-/- Mäusen Antikörper gegen die glomeruläre Basalmembran verabreicht und über einen Zeitraum von 14 Tagen der Krankheitsverlauf beobachtet. Durch den Nachweis der Aktivierung der Komponenten des Signalweges wurde zunächst auf Proteinebene die Funktionalität des Modells bewiesen.
