In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde der Einfluss rheologischer Eigenschaften auf das Schäumverhalten von Polypropylenen unterschiedlicher molekularer Struktur untersucht. Die Analyse der molekularen Struktur der Polypropylene wurde mittels Hochtemperatur-Gelpermeationschromatographie mit gekoppelter Lichtstreuung und über rheologische Methoden wie der Molmassenabhängigkeit der Nullviskosität durchgeführt. Der Schwerpunkt der rheologischen Charakterisierung der Polypropylene lag in der Untersuchung der Dehnverfestigung und des Bruchverhaltens in uniaxialer Dehnung.
