The replacement of clinker with supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) is the most interesting solution to reduce the CO2 emissions from cement production. The abundant availability of clays, which have a sufficient amount of kaolinite content in Thailand, has led to the development of an alternative SCM. The raw materials in this study come from Thailand and are used to formulate limestone calcined clay cement (LC3).
