Engineered plasmonic nanostructures have emerged as powerful sensing platforms and are promoting novel applications in various fields. By providing extreme field confinement down to molecular dimensions and enhancing light-matter interaction at the nanoscale, nanoplasmonics demonstrate outstanding potential for biomolecular analysis.
