Santiago de Chile has had to face a renewed wave of urban migration in the past few decades, placing mobility at the centre of many concerns. Whether social, economic or environmental, the impacts of mobility behaviour require further investigation, in order to contain or promote speci c aspects. This is the main motivation behind the present research, with a particular focus on the social consequences of mobility, while economic and environmental considerations are borne in mind throughout.
