This research is placed within a qualitative, interpretive paradigm of inquiry and has used a combination of two methods within an overall qualitative methodology and positions people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a valuable human resource for businesses in Singapore. One part of the study is a descriptive analysis of organisations that already have experience working with employees with ASD. The second part of the study comprises semi-structured interviews with employers who have, and also those employers who do not have, experience working with employees with ASD and who are interested in recruiting employees with ASD
