The results of long term investigations of the quality of pollen of Picea abies (L.) Karst. and Picea pungens Engelm. under conditions of introduction on the South-East of Ukraine have been presented. Periodicity and individual instability of forming of microstrobiles has been showed. It was determined that P. pungens has bigger pollen than P. abies and differs with higher viability
