MEDAN LEKSIKAL NOMINA BERKOMPONEN MAKNA (+PERKAKAS +MEMASAK +DAPUR) BAHASA INDONESIA

Semantics is one area of study or branch of linguistics that examines the meaning or meaning of language or linguistic meaning scientifically. One of the elements of language is leksem. The meanings of each lexeme can be analyzed into a more general set of component meanings in which some or all of them are common components in some other lexemes in the vocabulair of a language. The semantic features can be understood as the atomic concept (the smallest element of meaning). This indicates that a lexeme is related to other lexeme. The relationship can be a close relationship and a distant relationship. Lexemes that have a close relationship grouped in a lexical field. The proximity of the interconnects can lead to overlapping meanings, such as lexemes encompassed in the meaningless noun lexical field (+ PERKAKAS + MEMASAK + DAPUR). The overlapping lexeme needs to be examined from the point of view of the builder components in order to know the difference in meaning. The description of the component of the meaning can show the relation of the lexeme, either in the form of vertical relation, or horizontal. Based on this reason, the problems which discussed in this research are (1) how is the component of meaning of lexeme in lexical field (+ PERKAKAS + MEMASAK + DAPUR) Indonesian language? (2) how is the sense relation in lexical field (+ PERKAKAS + MEMASAK + DAPUR) Indonesian language? The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the component of meaning of lexeme in lexical field (+ PERKAKAS + MEMASAK + DAPUR) Indonesian language (2) Describe the sense relation in lexical field (+ PERKAKAS + MEMASAK + DAPUR) Indonesian language. Form of this research is a qualitative research with the data noun lexeme which have (+ PERKAKAS + MEMASAK + DAPUR) component. Sources of data in this research is KBBI fourth and fifth editions and also checked in Tesaurus Tematis Bahasa Indonesia. The analytical method used was the component analysis of Wedhawati (2005) and tested using the but-test diagnostic sentences and the followings sentences (Cruse: 1986). Furthermore, to describe the sense relation in the lexical field used the concept of Wedhawati (2005). Based on the results of data analysis, can be summarized: (1) components of meaning contained in this lexical field is 85 components of meaning, covered in 22 dimensions of meaning. These components include common components, distinctive components (diagnostics), and supplement components (complementary), (2) sense relation in this lexical field is 17 incompatibilities and 18 synonymous relationships.
