ABSTRACT Ala Riskha Dita, R0213003, 2017. The giving ofelectrolyte fluid to the workers whom exposed to thermal exposure against industrial fatigue at finising division of PT. Kusumahadi Santosa Karanganyar, Diploma 4 of Occupational Safety and Health Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University. Background :Thefinishing division in textile industry has a thermal source. This high temperature in the working area can cause fatigue to the workers. The fatigue occurs from dehydration because of the change of electrolyte balance. Electrolyte fluid used in order to reduce working fatigue because exposed against heat.The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of giving electrolyte fluid to the workers whom having industrial fatigue because of thermal exposure at finishing division of PT Kusumahadi Santosa Karanganyar. Method : This research was a quasi experiment using time series design approach with the sample of thirty workers at finishing division. The sampling technique used in the research was purposive sampling. The data were collected by measuring the workers industrial fatigue using reaction timer. The data analysis applied to this research was the wilcoxon non-parametric, to test the effect of giving the electrolyte fluid to the workers having industrial fatigue. Results : In this research showed that there was a relation between heat stress and industrial fatigue. The result of this research showed that there was an effect of giving electrolyte fluid to the workers having industrial fatigue with the ¬p-value < 0,05. The result indicated that there was decrease of the average reaction timer 52,66 milisecond, with industrial fatigue from 303,28 (bright of industrial fatigue) milisecond to 250,62 milisecond (bright of industrial fatigue). Industrial fatigue still at bright level. Conclusion : There is an effect of giving electrolyte fluid toindustrial fatigue of the workers at finishing division of PT. Kusumahadi Santosa Karanganyar according to statistic, but giving electrolyte fluid has no effect in lowering the level of industrial fatigue.
