Infektivitas dan Efektivitas Mikoriza Arbuskular dalam Serapan P Tanaman Jagung pada Tanah Ultisol, Inceptisol, Entisol, dan Histosol

Marginal land has low physical, chemical, and biological characteristics that cause lower crop productivity. Mycorrhizal inoculation is one effort to increasing crop productivity. Mycorrhizal has been known well as symbiotic fungi with high-level plants root that had roles such as increasing nutrient availability and uptake for plants. The research aimed to study mycorrhizal infectivity and effectivity from ultisol, entisol, inceptisol, and histosol on phosphorus uptake with maize as host plant. The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, there were sources of mycorrhizal spore and cropping media, each treatment combinations were replicated 6 times in culture pot. The main observed parameters were mycorrhizal spores infectivity, effectivity of mycorrhizal spores in phosphorus availability and phosporus levels on plant tissue. The results showed that several interaction of mycorrhizal sources spore inoculation and cropping media were increased mycorrhizal spores infectivity and P levels of plant tissue. Inoculation of mycorrhizal source spores from ultisol was showed highest result of mycorrhizal effectivity to increased P uptake by crops. Cropping medium of inceptisol soil was showed highest result to increased P uptake by crops
