Marginal land has low physical, chemical, and biological characteristics that cause lower crop productivity. Mycorrhizal inoculation is one effort to increasing crop productivity. Mycorrhizal has been known well as symbiotic fungi with high-level plants root that had roles such as increasing nutrient availability and uptake for plants. The research aimed to study mycorrhizal infectivity and effectivity from ultisol, entisol, inceptisol, and histosol on phosphorus uptake with maize as host plant. The research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, there were sources of mycorrhizal spore and cropping media, each treatment combinations were replicated 6 times in culture pot.
