The research aims to know the effectiveness of guidance group of symbolic modeling technique to improve empathy of X grade students in Senior High Scholl 6 Surakarta Academic Year 2016/2017. This research was Experimental Research Design with One Group Pretest-Poesttes Design that consists of a group of experiments. The subject of the research were 9 students which is chosen using purposive sampling technique. The data was collected using self-control questionnaire.
