PENGARUH TEKNIK TOKEN EKONOMI DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS SISWA TUNAGRAHITA KELAS VI SLB NEGERI SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017

The aim of this research was to examine the effect of token economy technique to increase achievement of learning social science for sixth grade students with intellectual disability at SLB Negeri Surakarta in the academic year 2016/2017. This research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this research was 7 students with intellectual disability in sixth grade of SLB Negeri Surakarta. The data collection technique used multiple choice and matching item test. The data analysis technique used nonparametric with wilcoxon sign rank test by SPSS 23. The result of this research obtained the average scores of subject in pretest was 45 and posttest 76,43. Non prametric analysis result obtained Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0,018, at the level significance α 0,05. So Thus, it can be concluded that token economy technique effected to increase achievement of learning social science for intellectual disability student sixth grade at SLB Negeri Surakarta in the academic year 2016/2017.
