Upaya Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Kebakaran di RSUD DR. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi Kabupaten Grobogan

ABSTRACT THE ATTEMPT OF PREVENTING AND COPING WITH FIRE IN DR. R. SOEDJATI SOEMODIARDJO LOCAL GENERAL HOSPITAL OF PURWODADI IN GROBOGAN REGENCY Zaininda Perdana Putri1, Siti Rachmawati2 Background: One of potential hazards occurring in hospital is fire; the attempt of preventing and coping with fire should be considered thereby creating a fire-free hospital and workplace environment. The application of fire prevention and coping procedure in Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Local General Hospital aimed to prevent and to cope with the fire as early as possible. Method: This research was conducted using descriptive method to represent the attempt of preventing and coping fire in Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Local General Hospital of Purwodadi Result: The result of research conducted in Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Local General Hospital of Purwodadi showed that this hospital had applied the fire preventive and coping measures corresponding to the Republic of Indonesia Health Minister’s Regulation Number 66 of 2016 about Work Safety and Health in Hospital. But, in the term of positioning and maintaining the light fire extinguisher instrument, it had not been consistent yet with the RI Labor and Transmigration Minister’s Regulation No. Per-04/MEN/1980 about the Conditions of Installing and Maintaining Light Fire Extinguisher Instrument Conclusion: Dr. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Local General Hospital of Purwodadi had taken preventive and coping measures in dealing with the fire in hospital. This hospital was expected to position and to maintain the fire extinguisher corresponding to the legislation. Keywords: Fire, Prevention and Coping, Hospital 1.
