Implementasi Sistem Tanggap Darurat sebagai Upaya Penanggulangan Kebakaran di PT XYZ Sidoarjo

ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEMS AS A FIRE PREVENTION MENTION IN PT XYZ SIDOARJO Nimas Galuh Madya Trilukita1, Iwan Suryadi2 Background: PT XYZ Sidoarjo has potential fire hazards that may occur suddenly during the production process. Potential factors are causing fires in the company ie raw materials (paper), equipment, people and the environment, so that emergency response system procedures are needed as an effort to fire prevention. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the implementation of fire emergency response system in PT XYZ Sidoarjo. Methods: This type of research uses descriptive method, which provides an overview of the implementation of emergency response system in PT XYZ Sidoarjo. Data collection is done through the direct observation to the field, interview with related parties and literature study. Result: PT XYZ Sidoarjo has implemented emergency response system in the prevention of fire emergency in accordance with company emergency preparedness procedures. The procedure has been equipped with supporting facilities such as fire emergency preparedness team, fire emergency facilities and training; and simulation to overcome the emergency of fire. Conclusion: Implementation of emergency response system in PT XYZ Sidoarjo has fulfilled Law no. 1 of 1970 on Occupational Safety, Government Regulation No.50 of 2012 on the Implementation of SMK3, Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. Kep186 / Men / 1999 on Fire Prevention in the Workplace. In the maintenance of fire emergency facilities and facilities have not fully complied with the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration. Per-04 / MEN / 1980 on APAR and Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration No. 15 of 2008 on First aid in the Workplace. Keywords: Emergency Response System, Fire Prevention. 1.
