ADHITYA BAGUS KUNCORO, S311508001, 2017, IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE AGENCY FOR THE SETTLEMENT OF CONSUMER’S DISPUTES (BPSK) AS AN ALTERNATIVE ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS IN THE REVIEW OF THE CONSUMER RIGHTS LAW NUMBER 8 YEAR 1999 ON CONSUMER PROTECTION Thesis: Master of Law Programe, Sebelas Maret University This article intends to analyze of the functions of a dispute resolution by The Agency for the Settlement of Consumer’s Disputes (BPSK) in Indonesia based on the Law on consumer protection, where consumer protection authorities was very instrumental in the settlement of disputes that often occur in the community and its existence actually help the consumer society medium is often a victims of injustice in a competitive business and economics, but in fact the existence of a dispute resolution body of consumers in Indonesia seems to have not received serious attention from policy makers. The results of this study is that it did happen the imbalance in the regulation of central and local level about the existence of The Agency for the Settlement of Consumer’s Disputesis mainly on the issue of the complexity of funding arrangements are unclear and there is disagreement between the central government and the regions, so that people who are victims of especially the middle class.
