PROFITABILITY ANALYSIS AND FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY OF LAYING DUCK BUSINESS IN SRAGEN REGENCY. EKANANTA JUNI WULANDARI Laying duck businesses capable of improving the rural economy and simultaneously increase incomes in Sragen regency. The know whether businesses are laying duck able to generate profit and financially viable in the run so interesting to do research. This research has purposes to know: (1) The level of profitability laying duck business and (2) The level of financially viable laying duck business. The method used in the research is a survey method, the sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data used in the research is primary data questionnaire of 150 respondents breeder laying ducks in Sragen regency and the secondary data include laying duck population and the number of liverstock. Analysis tool used is to calculate the level profitability and financial feasibility of data questionnaire using the formula. The result showed that the business are laying duck in Sragen regency able generate sufficient benefit shown by indicators Gross Profit Margin (GPM) at 32,72%. Financially feasible to be implemented is shown with indicator Net Presen Value (NPV) of 39.711.040; Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) of 1,49; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 18,52%; Payback Period (PP) for 2,4 year; the production of Break Event Point (BEP) of 63.683 items and the price of Break Event Point (BEP) is Rp. 1.254,-.
