Profil Miskonsepsi Siswa Kelas XI pada Konsep Termodinamika

ABSTRACT Aprilia Dwinta Karlina. PROFILE STUDENT MISCONCEPTIONS AT CLASS XI SENIOR HIGHT SCHOOL ON THERMODYNAMICS CONCEPT. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Sebelas Maret Surakarta University. August 2016. This research was intented to identify and describe the profile of misconceptions held by students at class XI SMA N 1 Kebumen on Thermodynamics concept. Descriptive method and purposive sampling technique were used in this research with student at class XI IPA 1,2,7 and 8 SMA N 1 Kebumen in the academic year 2013/2014 as a subject. Furthermore, the data were obtained from a research instruments that consist of identification misconceptions tests have formed multiple choice with the specific reason test and analyzed with quantitative descriptive techniques. Based on the data analysis and results of this research can be concluded that: (1) Identified that student at class XI IPA SMAN 1 Kebumen academic year 2013/2014 have misconceptions on the Thermodynamics concept, (2) Profile of misconceptions on the Thermodynamics concept, which is owned by subjects with a percentage more than 50% contained in the sub-concepts: the relationship between heat and temperature (57.2%); the thermal equilibrium (74.4%); heat in the process of Thermodynamics (64%); the relationship between the heat capacity, mass and temperature (52.4%); The concept of the relationship of heat capacity measured at a constant pressure (Cp) and the heat capacity measured at constant volume (Cv) (51.2%) ; Thermodynamic processes (70.8%); the first law of Thermodynamics (77.6%); the second law of Thermodynamics (65.6%).
