STUDI OF THE RATIONALITY PRESCRIBING OF BRONCHITIS PATIENTS OUTPATIENT BASED ON DOSE ACCURACY IN CLINICS KARANGPANDAN KARANGANYAR REGENCY 2015 NUR WULAN AMBARWATI Diploma III of Pharmacy, Faculty of Mathematic and Science Sebelas Maret University ABSTRACT Bronchitis is the one of Acute respiratory tract infections (Respiratory) which is a condition of inflamation of trakheobronkhial area. Respiratory which is one of the highest causes of death in children and adults. One of the causes of disease is bacterial bronchitis, therefore need to be given antibiotic therapy. Inappropriate use of antibiotics can lead to resistance problems and increased economic burden on health services. This research aims to know the patterns of prescribing antibiotics in patients of bronchitis and know the rationality usage of antibiotics in bronchitis disease based on the accuracy of the dose in the health center Karangpandan Karanganyar regency 2015. Research conducted is non-experimental research that was analyed in descriptive with retrospective data retrieval method. The data were analyzed in quantitative and qualitative conformity of the use of antibiotic based on the literature of health BPOM RI 2008. Then, all of the data were presented in tubular form. Patient who met the criteria of inclusion as much as 209 patients which consist of 50,72% male and 49,28% female with ages >0-18 years 77,99%, >18-64 years 19,14%, and >64 years 2,87%. Antibiotics used Cotrimoxazole 65,02%, Amoxicillin 21,18%, Erythromycin 10,84%, Ciprofloxacin 1,97%, and Cefadroxil 0,99%. The rationality of the antibiotics usage was based on the evaluation based on the accuracy of the dose and the result was 84,16% and 15,84% dose appropriately inappropriate dosage.
