This chapter will investigate the record of culturally'Scandinavian' Viking Age burials in Scotland to assess theage and sex ratios of those buried, as well as the mobility ofthose assessed by isotope analysis. This will lead to a discussion ofmigration routes to Scotland during the Viking Age, and addressissues of identity
