Objectives: This study aims at testing predictions derived from temporal self-regulationtheory (TST) in relation to discretionary food choices (snacks). TST combines amotivational sphere of influence (cognitions and temporal valuations resulting inintentions) with a momentary sphere (encompassing social and physical environmentalcues).
