Globalization and Digital Revolution

The period from the end of World War II until 1990 was characterized by the bipolar world of the Cold War. Economic life was conducted primarily at the level of nation- states operating within the ambit of the alliance system of the Cold War. The end of the Cold War stimulated the evolution of globalization, as well as a technology push which is rightfully referred to as the “digital revolution”. These two developments have been among the most influential of thepast quarter century. They will continue to be the two inexorable macro forces redefining the arena within which corruption is conducted and will shape thefocus of future anticorruption strategies
